The text on the back of the hunter
green "wicking T" reads:

WARNING!
Due to the frequency of bear
encounters the Fish and Wildlife
Commission advises hikers
to take these precautions while
in the field:

1.
Wear noisy little bells on clothing
so as to give advance warning
to any bears in the area.

2.
Carry pepper spray in case of
a bear encounter.

3.
Watch for recent bear activity and
be able to tell the difference
between black bear feces
and grizzly bear feces.

Black bear feces is smaller and
containslots of berries
and squirrel fur. Grizzly bear
crap has bells in it
and smells like pepper.
